SubscribeBefore you subscribe
We want every email you receive from us to be one you expected. Here are seven things to know first.
What happens when you press Subscribe
We immediately send one confirmation email — just one. It looks like this:
- From
- Sons2Shine <noreply@sons2shine-org.firebaseapp.com>
- Subject
- Verify your email for Sons2Shine
This is Google Firebase’s standard confirmation email; the subject and text may appear in your language. Where it says “verify your email”, that is our subscription confirmation. Open it and press the link inside. If a page then says your email has been verified, press Continue to come back here. You are subscribed once you see “You are subscribed”.
If you do nothing, nothing happens: you are not added to the list and you will never receive the newsletter.
Who uses your address
Only the Sons2Shine ministry team — the people who look after this website. It is never sold, never shared, and never used for anything else.
What it is for
Only to send you this newsletter. It will not be used for any other email or added to any other list.
What you will receive
Upcoming gatherings — when, where, what to expect and who is leading — and now and then some news from the ministry. Only free gatherings: no tickets, no fees, nothing for sale. We write only when there is a gathering or real news to share: about once a month at most.
Where it comes from
The address the newsletter is sent from will be shown here before the first issue goes out. (The confirmation email comes from the address shown in the sample above.)
How to leave
Every issue ends with an unsubscribe link: press it, confirm once, and you are done — no account, no password — and your address is deleted from the list straight away. If your mail app shows an Unsubscribe button next to the sender, that works just as well: your entry is deleted straight away and nothing more is sent to you.
